Temperature alarm in Multiplus C 12/2000/80

Hello,

I have an old Multiplus C 12/2000/80. Sometimes, in summer, the Multiplus can get very hot and it'll give a temperature alarm.
Could this mean an internal fan issue? In case of a defective fan, would the Victron give any special alarm? How to check for (and replace) the fan? Is there any service manual available?

Thanks!

Dust and fluff can build up on fan blades, and vastly reduce air flow.

Worth a look.

I have my Multiplus 5kva 48v GX under the stairs in a decent sized cupboard but it gets bloody hot under there. I had to introduce a extract fan to remove the heat after getting a high temperature warning. A bit of forced air movement makes a massive difference to the temperature around the unit and in turn how the unit behaves.
