Why is battery current different to solar current on my MPPT?
Yes, in a nutshell it is MPPT magic.
Although there is no magic really, it's just power conversion.
In Bulk stage, if you find out the power coming from solar (Amps x Volts) and find out the power going to the battery (Amps x Volts) then you will see that there is not much difference in the power going into the MPPT and the power going out to the battery.
