Custom Widget Adjustment

I'm sorry if I am missing something, but I don't see a way to adjust (Edit) already created custom widget. I just simply want to add one another variable into an existing chart. It seems, I have to create a clone, edit and delete the previous widget.

You're right. But it's currently a beta release. Editing will come, not sure when.
