I have a Chevy Express Van with a factory Auxiliary Battery with isolator set up. The Aux Battery is the same size as the vehicle battery. Do to its favorable location I would like to hook up my Orion TR Smart Isolated DC-DC Charger to the Aux Battery for charging my house 300 AH Lithium Batteries rather running up to the chassis battery. My thought is that by going through the Aux Battery I gain an additional level of protection for my alternator which is also a HD Smart?? Alternator. My system is mostly Victron with 400 W of Solar, 3000 W Inverter/Charger, 300 AH Battery and shore power capable. Will this set up work properly? Thanks
