Our maximum simultaneous AC watts load will be 4800watts .
We will need to run power tools like a chop saw and a skill saw ...
plus a washing machine and various water pumps .
Do we need 2 x Multiplus 3000VA ? (2400watts x 2 = 4800watts)
Or is there a circa 5000 Watt AC output (at 25 degrees) inverter charger available ?

@Hobbes to add to what Alexandra said. A pump may take up to 6 times normal load when it starts. Microwave ovens are another killer. You need the overhead capacity.

on diagnosing inverter overload which explains this well.
I would Start with 2x Multiplus 5000 and the Option to expand, or with one 10k Quattro.
If you will only have one AC input from e.g. a generator with no grid at all or plans for wind turbines etc. a Multiplus-II 8kVA will suit too.
