The Cerbo GX on our boat has drained the generator battery twice.
How can we turn off / disconnect the Cerbo GX when we are not on the boat?
Thanks.

You might want to consider adding a small solar panel to compensate for the consumption of the cerbo. We've added a pair of 60W panels to our boat, which most of the time should keep up with the Cerbo, the rest of our instrumentation, and the LTE router that lets us monitor the boat from home. That said, we're also normally connected to shorepower but this will let us know about power failures/unplugged cables, even when we can't get to the boat.
Yes, its the Cerbo GX draining the single12 volt battery which is used for the generator.
Boat does not have shore power and can be left for up to two weeks. It has drained and killed one generator battery. Its just drained the second battery after 10 days. Not an option to install a solar panel for the Cerbo GX.
My original question.....: Is there a way to turn off or put the Cerbx GX into standby? What settings can we turn off to reduce pow3er consumption? We do not use remote monitoring.
Thanks.
Cannot find Mr Yoshi's answer, but boat is 80' and ON/OFF switch will require long cable run to put switch where it needs to be. That is why I was hopeful of reducing power consumption or turning it off by software.
Power consumption is 22 watts with display off. Are there any software settings to turn off?
Power consumption is 22 watts with display off.
Official documentation suggests that power consumption is between 2.5 - 5w depending on screen use and brightness.
If a Cerbo used 22w, it would melt.
