I have two matching charge controllers networked together. At the time of installation, both were operating normally. A few months later, one of them stopped working with an error code.
I disconnected the PV input wires and checked them with a voltmeter. The voltage is correct (about 240V) and the amperage is good. I also verified that the polarity is correct. I checked to make sure the wires are the proper gauge, stripped and twisted nicely, and then I screwed then in firmly. When I test the voltage / amperage directly from the terminal blocks, they read zero.
The battery leads are also properly installed and the whole system is otherwise working properly.
Has this controller simply burned out?
