Hi. I am after advice on how the VE.Direct TX digital output cable controls a virtual load.
I have a Smartsolar 100/30 charging a 12v battery bank with an inverter connected direct to the battery. The inverter has a low battery cut off and cuts back in when the voltage rises. Snag is that the inverter beeps constantly when battery voltage is low. There is facility for a remote momentary on/off switch on the inverter. Do the VE.Direct TX digital output cable's two conductors make at low battery and make at full battery or is one a ground and one a signal? Could I use the cable to turn off the inverter before it's low battery alarm kicks in, then back on when the batteries are replenished?
