I just installed a 500 amp smartshunt on dual 6v batteries in series in my RV. Love it/works well. Question - while charged at 100% the battery charge/float voltage is 13.4-14.1. That's not a "true" voltage for the battery. Do I synchronize while on float or wait for the battery voltage to stabilize down around 12.7-12.8 after being off float for 30 to 45 minutes? Is it setting an incorrect SOC while on float?
