Would anyone be able to tell me if this rather old type of split charge relay, could in any way force to much power into an already 100% fully charged battery bank, say if I started driving with a 100% full battery bank I mean. it is what’s fitted and has worked, but I don’t know how “crudely” they work. The alternator is on a 1994 eurocargo lorry, so it’s far from smart. The cables to and from the relay are only about the same size as the power cables to an eberspacher.
