Smart Shunt as Ammeter

I have a set (port and starboard) of small solar panels on the bow of my sailboat feeding the 24V house bank of Victron LiFePO4 batteries. I must boost the voltage due to the limited array size with two Gensun GVB-8-Li MPPTs in parallel to limit boat shading effects (Victron does not offer boost controllers that I have found).

In order to measure the output of this array I have been researching the use of a Victron Smart Shunt. According to what I have been told, I can leverage the Smart Shunt as an Ammeter and display the data on my CERBO GX.

Battery charge would be stopped downstream leveraging a Battery Protect after the bus of the 6 solar arrays on the boat.

Has anyone done this successfully? Any guidance and/or cautions would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.
