Hi,
Thanks in advance for any answers.
I currently have a Multiplus II GX 48/3000 (10.5kw lithium batteries) and 1.85kw of AC coupled solar.
I have a Carlo Gavazzi ET112 monitoring the grid connection and an EM111 monitoring solar production.
I want to add some extra solar but my limit would be another 2.15kw unless I use grid limiting.
I don't want to limit the existing solar install at all as it is on a feed-in tariff so I just want to set an export limit on any new panels at 2.15kw.
If I understand my options correctly I could either install a 3kw AC-coupled inverter on the AC-OUT or a DC-coupled inverter of any size?
Will any AC coupled inverter be able to respond to the Multiplus' frequency shifting to limit power output?
If I set the ESS grid feed-in limit to 4kw like so
will the Multiplus limit its output on the AC-IN to limit any exported power to the grid at 4kw?
Regards,
Rob.
