Hello,
We have a system consisting of a Victron Lynx ION/BMS/1000A and a Victron Quattro 24v/8000va/200a charger/inverter.
The system completely hanged up after showing the error “#25 Pre-Charge Error”. The batteries weren't being used when the error showed up (the system was in "pass-through" mode).
Has anyone encoutered the same error ?

On looking up the error maybe its because
The Lynx Ion + Shunt will not start if there is more than 10A drawn by the system during pre-charging
Power up procedure
1.Make sure that all energy consumers are switched off before starting up the system.
2.The Lynx Ion + Shunt will pre-charge the system before closing the safety contactor.
3.Press the START-button on the front of the Lynx Ion + Shunt to start the system.
4.Now the system is being pre-charged. The safety contactor is closed as soon as the voltage rises above 80% of the battery voltage.
5.If the status LED is continuously on, then the system is running and ready for use.

Hello,
I've met the same alarm (trhu VRM Portal sending a email) which is "pre-charge error". A second email was sent within a minute cancelling the alarm. Looking at the portal, we can see battery start discharging about 10pm till alarm released (1:18AM) then battery starting to charge "normally". Installation includes a Lynx (connected to DC board systems) + Multiplus which was normally connected to grid (boat on shore). It appears shore grid was off from 3PM to 1:17AM which explains battery drawn but why alarm was triggered because system didn't shut down at all ?
