Loading tension on two different battery banks with Victron Energy Blue Smart IP 22 24/16/3

Hello Victron Community,

I'm using the IP 22 Battery Charger (24/16/3) to load my two different battery banks. One Battery bank has two 12 Volt batteries in series with 150ah, the other battery bank has two 12v batteries in series with 220ah.

My question is as follows. I saw that the 150ah bank was fully charged and the other was only half full loaded. On both battery banks the tension was 28,8 volts. I would expect, that on the battery bank that is full the tension would be lower?!

Or is the tension still 28,8 even on the full bank but the current is 0 ampere?

On the app I only see the current value for all battery banks. For me it is interessting to know that i do not overload the battery with only 150ah.

Thanks for your help!

Are you charging separately or at the same time? Hopefully separately.

Usually 28.8V is the absorption voltage. Charger charges at full power until this voltage is reached, then holds this voltage until a timer cuts it or the current drops off sufficiently. Then the charger drops to float voltage, at which point you can say the battery is charged.

So what you're seeing sounds normal. 28.8V does not mean fully charged.

Thank you for your answer. Currently I m loading both battery Banks at the same time because i thought that all three Outputs are working Independent from each other. Is this assumption Not correct?
