What is the max length USB extension cable

What is the max length extension cable I can use to connect a Cerbo GX to a Victron 140 tank module?

Generally, the USB specification is 5 metres maximum length.

What about powered extensions around 10 meters similar to the one below?

That should work fine


I have the 10m mutec cable with a 1m Victron ve direct to usb working for smart shunt to ccgx.


I also have similar baolongking active usb cables 15m + 10m joined together (25m) for Bluetooth dongle connected to ccgx.

All work perfectly.
