Is it possible that the Smart Orion 12/12/30 goes directly in absorption when the Smart Lithium 160Ah battery is between 8 degrees and 15 degrees while te SoC is 85% ?
Once the temperature is rising above 15 degrees, everything works fine ...

Yes, this could happen.
At cooler temperatures the battery will more easily reach its Absorption Voltage. The battery capacity is reduced from its nameplate rating too so less energy goes into it thus SOC will read lower.
