This is my second installation with same problem.
Do I need to change something in the ET340? How?

ET340 keeps disconnecting, after every reset it works again
How did you solve this issue?
We have the same issue, the ET340 gridmeter disconnectes every minute for about 5 seconds, and so on. We already changed the ET340 and the RS485 cable. Both ET340 were running on firmware B-7.
Could this be a firmware issue? And if yes, how should we update the meter?
