Battery temp suddenly incorrect

My BWV 712 is suddenly reading incorrect temperature. -19c when it is +28C. worked well for 2 years. All other readings normal.No changes were made to system.

Loose connection?

Corrosion on the terminals/sensor?

Bad network cable to display unit has been to blame at times. Worth trying a different one.
