Is there any way the dc to dc charger is weakening my car battery. It's a new battery and I have to jump it everyday

The datasheet says that the Orion has a standby current of 1mA. A new starter battery should be able to supply that for months. Check the settings of the Orion maybe the shut down voltage is to low so it will drain the starter battery to charge your 2nd battery.
