Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC Charger - Direct to outboard charging coil

I am looking for some advice, I want to charge my sailboats lithium battery via the charging coil from the outboard engine which outputs at 6A. The outboard is only small and does not have electronic start hence I have no start battery. I want to directly wire the DC-DC from the charging coil lead into the houes battery? I get the feeling this isn't supported?

Should work for a while if you put an Orion in the system. But there's a chance of killing your alternator as it will run at full output for long periods if you let the battery go low.
