Is it possible to have a warm up and cool down time when you start and stop a generator automatically via a CCGX.
Hello Boris,
That is not a standard feature in the Generator start/stop function of the GX device.
If there is a generator Controller fitted to the generator this type of setting can be set on this controller. The Controller switches on or off a built in contactor applying or removing all AC loads from the generator allowing the warm up and cool down periods.
If no AC Contactor is fitted, a external contactor can be fitted with a timer circuit to achieve this operation.
