How to show bmv 712 on axiom 9

Can my bmv 712 connect to my axiom 9? I have the app on the mfd and i understand it wontbread the bmv 712 bia bia bluetooth. Do i need somthing between the 722 and axiom? 9?
I don't know about Raymarine, but for Navico/B&G you need a Venus device connected directly to the MFD via ethernet. That must be hard wired direct to the ethernet port and not via a router. Very restrictive.
Maybe better solution is to get the Victron data onto the N2K network and configure a custom display on the MFD. This is what I plan to do.
As an aside why do the B&G proprietary ethernet cables cost so much? £50!! They are having a laugh.
