VE.Direct non inverting remote on-off cable

Hi there,

I'm looking at using this cable to switch off my MPPT 75/15 solar charger to protect my new victron lithium battery. my question is can I extend the yellow part of the cable by a metre, as it won't quite reach the BMS.
