It feels rather redundant to have temperature/battery sensors on both my CerboGX and SmartDongle. Shouldn't I just need one and do away with the Smart Dongle?

My understanding is that you lose some functionality of the Dongle if you are connecting to the Cerbo GX. I'm running a Cerbo Gx and no Dongle and I have full remote functionality but I risk not having control if the Cerbo GX fails and has to come out of my system for repair
