Good day,
I'm from South Africa where our grid power is very unreliable. We've installed three 10kVA inverters which supply three phase power from 30kW solar panels on the roof and a 24kW lithium battery bank. We have connected the grid to AC input 2 and the generator to AC input 1. It is a 31kVA generator.
Our problem is that when the grid power fails and the generator starts up, the inverters either does not accept the AC input, or does not charge the batteries and only runs the loads. How can we configure the system such that the batteries can be charged through AC1 with the genset running?
I've tried looking at previous forums and found some information regarding weak AC input, accept wide input frequency and dynamic current limiting. All these have been applied to no avail.
Please help if you can.
Regards
Gawie
