Multiplus 24 V 3000 Aux fan wiring

Looking to add blower fan to my 24V 3000. The blower is 12V. Should a 12V power be applied to the relay to have it act as a switch?

Yes, as long as the fan is pulling 4 amps or less (48W). If it is pulling more power, then "the relay" in the multiplus could be used to activate a bigger relay which act as the fan switch.

Edit: I assume you are talking about the primary relay (alarm relay)

Thank you mrhappy, I am looking for advice of which relay to use. I want it to turn on & off with the Multiplus fan. The unit I am going to use is a 130 cfm blower 12V 2.5 amps.

It should be fine to use the primary relay.

You have to program your unit with VE Configure. Add two "programmable relay" assistants and configure them to activate the primary relay based on the fan. Here is a summary example:
