Is it possible to use the above mentioned hardware to charge 2 12 volt batteries individually. And have 2 batteries wired in series for a 24 volt system. Thank you for any comments.

These charge controllers can charge 24V battery systems.
Use both in parallel across the two batteries as 24V
Do not connect one MPPT over each 12V battery like that, the batteries will not be balanced properly.
