Either you need a MK3 VE.Bus to USB converter or a GX Device with VE.Bus input and a windows computer with the VE Configure 3 software.
With the MK3 and windows computer, just download the software, start it, connect the device and it should find it directly. If you want to use a linux computer, there is a bit of tinkering involved but it's possible to make it work.
With a GX device that have a VE.Bus input, you need to register on and connect to VRM portal. After that, in VRM, under "device list" there is a button: "remote VE Configure" where you can download a settings file that you open up in the VE Configure software, modify the settings you want, and then upload it again via the VRM portal.
Here is daocumentation for VE Configure and the battery tab where you want to put in the settings for your particular setup:

VE Configure 3:

On the software downloads page, about VE Configure 3 download, is stated:
USB driver installation program for MK2-USB /
MK3-USB
To install the MK2-USB / MK3-USB driver on a computer without internet, first download the MK2-USB / MK3-USB driver using VEConfig3 and install it by selecting the menu Special -> USB Drivers. Only afterwards connect the MK2-USB / MK3-USB to your computer for the first time.
On computers with internet, Windows will automatically download the correct driver itself.
The software download page is here:

Please read the manual, it has all the information in it, including all information i have written above:
